Currently patrons have access to printed copies of the following local newspapers:
- Jamaica Gleaner
- Daily , Saturday and Sunday Issues
- Jamaica Observer
- Daily , Saturday and Sunday Issues
- Western Mirror
In addition to current issues, bounded copies going back at least two years can also be retrieved for access. Since 2009 the library has been subscribing to the gleaner archives online.
