DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals 

Database of open access journals covering all scientific and scholarly subjects.  Primarily used to identify open access journal titles and forty percent of them are searchable at the article level.  Journals can be browsed by title or by broad subject area.  Articles are searchable by article author or title, ISSN, journal title, abstract, or key words.  Full-text is not searchable but is fully accessible.

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.

Open J ‚Äď gate

Open J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global journal literature in open access domain. Open J-Gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles available online. Open J-Gate is also a database of journal literature, indexed from 3000+ open access journals, with links to full text at Publisher sites.

JamStats

JamStats is a database that captures information on some of Jamaica’s most critical social and economic indicators. A DevInfo 6.0 adaptation, it was developed by the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) in partnership with the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), with support from UNICEF.

The Child Protection Database

The Child Protection Database (CPD) provides summary data on issues regarding the protection and well-being of Jamaica’s children. The database was developed by the Government of Jamaica and is maintained by the Child Development Agency.

The EduStats Database

The EduStats database provide information on the performance of Jamaica’s education sector.

The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) is the foremost planning agency of the government.

The ILO Caribbean Digital Library

The ILO Caribbean Digital Library of the ILO Decent  Work Team and Office for the Caribbean is a collection of key ILO publications and documents which focus on labour and workplace issues of the Caribbean region.  It contains publications produced by the ILO Decent  Work Team and Office for the Caribbean over the years as well as those produced by ILO, Geneva,  which are of particular relevance to the region. Subjects covered include labour and employment, industrial relations, decent work, small enterprise development, gender, HIV/AIDS and labour market information.
